Planned Outage 11/10-11/11

BCREMC planned outage Bartholomew County REMC will be conducting substation maintenance and repair in the Hope, Hartsville and Newbern areas, midnight Saturday, November 10th to 2 a.m. Sunday the 11th. The two hour planned power outage will affect 650 BCREMC customers who reside in the northeast portion of the county, east of SR 9 and north of SR 46. Phone notifications will be made to customers that will be affected. However, you may call the Bartholomew County REMC office at 812-372-2546 to confirm if you will be part of this planned outage.

New Billing System

Bartholomew County REMC has launched a new billing system. To pay online please visit bcremc.smarthub.coop or download the SmartHub app in your app store. Once on the site: Click “Sign up to access our self service site” Enter your account number, last name, & e-mail Verify last bill amount or billing zip code A temporary password will be sent to the email provided. Retrieve temporary password from e-mail and use to login. Once into the system, you will be asked for a new password. TSE Camp

Bartholomew County REMC is pleased to announce they will once again sponsor 2 students to attend Touchstone Energy® Camp to be held June 6-9, 2018, at Camp Tecumseh in Brookston, Ind. For fourteen years, Touchstone Energy® Camp has educated sixth grade students about how to stay safe around electricity, while also providing campers a chance to make friends from around Indiana and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. This is a fun and exciting way for students to learn about electric safety and the role of electric cooperatives in their community. Youth Tour

Indiana’s Electric Cooperative Youth Tour provides young Hoosiers the opportunity to visit the nation’s capital, experience American history and gain a better understanding about their electric cooperative and government. The 2018 Indiana Youth Tour is June 7-14. Indiana will send a delegation of approximately 75 students from throughout the state. The students are selected by the local electric cooperatives. More than 1,600 students from 47 states will travel to Washington for the week-long experience. Bartholomew County REMC will pick two students from the applications received.
