Install a geothermal heat pump to heat and cool your home and Bartholomew County REMC will issue a check!

REMC homeowner will receive $200 per ton, up to a 4-ton unit per residence, for new home construction, converting from an existing fossil fuel system, or changing out the existing resistant heating system (i.e., baseboard, ceiling cable, electric furnace). Maximum paid per residence will be $800.

Requirements to qualify for this program:

• Must be installed in Bartholomew County REMC service area.
• Must show proof of sale, make, serial and model numbers, size of unit and kw backup.
• Rebates and incentives are not available on Touchstone Energy Homes.

*REMC personnel retain the option to verify installation.
