Install a geothermal heat pump to heat and cool your home and Bartholomew County REMC will issue a check!

Install a Geothermal Heat Pump System, in a new home, replace your existing fossil fuel system or replace existing electric system (i.e., heat pump, baseboard, ceiling cable, electric furnace) and receive $1,000.

If you replace a current Geothermal Heat Pump with a new Geothermal Heat Pump, receive $400.

 

Requirements to qualify for this program:

• Must be installed in Bartholomew County REMC service area.
• Must show proof of sale, make, serial and model numbers, size of unit and kw backup.
• Rebates and incentives are available on Touchstone Energy Homes.

*REMC personnel retain the option to verify installation.

Get a deduction of assessed value.  Fill out this form and file with the County Auditor.
