Collection and reconnection charges
The following charges shall be applicable to delinquent accounts, if it becomes necessary to make a trip to consumer's premises, for the purpose of collecting delinquent accounts.

| Charge for reconnecting service disconnected for non-payment of account: |

| Charge for reconnecting service when service is reconnected outside normal working hours: |

| Collection charge per trip for purpose of collecting or disconnecting a delinquent account that requires a pole top disconnect: |
$160.00 |
| Charge for reconnecting service disconnected for non-payment of account that requires a pole top disconnect: |
$160.00 |
| Charge for reconnecting service when service is reconnected outside normal working hours that requires a pole top disconnect: |
$225.00 |
Written notice must be given before disconnection of service. Bartholomew County REMC will comply with its Service Rules and Regulations regarding the disconnect procedure.
Unpaid Checks
When a check received in payment of a member's account is returned unpaid for any reason not the fault of the REMC, the member shall be assessed a handling fee of $25.00 per unpaid check.
