Have your monthly Bartholomew County REMC electric bill, bcremc.net internet bill, or your Hometown Energy gas bill automatically deducted from your checking, savings account, or credit card.

How? With AMPS, a way to make paying your bills easier than ever before.

AMPS will help you save time and money. You no longer need to write a check or worry about mailing your payment before the due date. Just fill out an application and attach a voided check or deposit slip.  Within 4-6 weeks, after bank verification, your payment will be deducted from your bank or credit card account.

Although you will continue to receive your monthly statement, the new amount due will automatically be deducted from your bank three days before the due date on your bill statement.

Each AMPS deduction will be shown on your bank statement and be recorded on your Bartholomew County REMC electric account, bcremc.net or Hometown Energy account.

If your account is set up on the Levelized or Budget Billing Programs, your bill will appear as it has in the past. The only change is that the payment will be drafted each month automatically for you.

If you are not currently on the Levelized or Budget Billing Programs, we can give you detailed information about these billing programs.
